unique manicure ideas
Any name suggestions?
I’m soon to be co-owning a new salon with my mother and we are in need of possible names for the place. If it is of any relevance, mine and my mother’s first names both start with the letter J. We want something that is not too long, very catchy and easy to remember, something that sounds really high class and luxurious, but something unique. We will not be considered a day spa, as the only services that we will be offering are all hair services, manicures, pedicures, and facials. Any ideas?

Jamie Lee is my actual first and last name. My initials are JDL and My mother’s initials are JSC, if anyone can get any ideas with that.
j Salon — thats my first suggestion. I know its pretty simple, but when you said you want the letter “J” to be first, it made me think of this lounge/bar here in Chicago that is pretty swanky called J-Bar.
You could also try J. ____ Salon (the blank being your mother’s last name, and yours unless you no longer use that last name). It has to be a last name that flows though.. like J. Mitchell (can you tell I thought of “Paul Mitchell”, LOL) or J. Jeffrey Salon or something. If it isn’t easy to pronounce then scratch that idea.
You could put your city name after j (like J Beverly Hills) or something.
Also, there is a french name (I guess its the French word too) meaning “joy” just spelled Joie…. you could use that. The name is in French so (to me anyway) it is automatically associated with posh style and sophistication
