Can you catch a disease from a pedicure?
I had my first one today. I know I tend to be OCD /paranoid/whatever etc. but it only occured to me after I bled a tiny bit, just a few drops.
the lady was wearing a mask and gloves, I asked if her if they clean the instruments and she said yes. Is there are any risk from getting a pedicure and using the scissors etc that have been used on others?
My b.f. is not very sympathetic AT ALL when I ask him about my
OCD type worries, should I dump him? Oh sorry different question different category.. this is a serious question, I get worried by this stuff. thanks, be kind people.
If the instruments are not cleaned or sterilized properly, yes you can get an infection. Check with your state’s licensing and regulation board to see if that particular salon has had any violations.
Now, on to your OCD issues. If they are severe enough, maybe you need to be seen by a doctor that can help keep them under control. I wouldn’t dump your boyfriend over it, maybe he just some help understanding why you are worried about so much stuff.
