contact lenses or lasik
Can pilots wear glasses or contact lenses? READ THIS?
Hi i’m Walter, i’m 13 and I want to be a pilot. However, I don’t have very good far vision — 20/20 near sight …. 20/70 far sight. So my question is can pilots wear glasses, contacts, or get lasik?
Thank you everyone for the feedback! Now I just have to wait till i’m 17 to get my PPL. 
I have horrible eye sight, yet had no problem getting my first class medical certificate with contacts. This is the highest class medical available. To simply become a private pilot, even perfect vision is not required. A 3rd class medical (required for private pilot) only requires 20/40 vision. But, for a commercial pilot, 20/20 corrected is required.
